Meet a Barefoot record breaker

How are we improving our carbon footprint? Reading Meet a Barefoot record breaker 1 minute

This summer Laura Briggs is going to be a pioneer and record breaker while wearing her favourite barefoot shoes, Vibram FiveFingers.

To help raise money for a cause close to her heart, Laura is attempting to become the first human being to run the Macmillan Way. A series of footpaths and trails that link Boston in Lincolnshire with Dorset.

The route was devised to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support. It runs along sea banks and river banks, across the Lincolnshire fens via Stamford, eventually to Abbotsbury on the Dorset Coast.

The Way provides a link with the Viking Way at Oakham, the Thames Path National Trail near Thames Head and with the South West Coast Path National Trail at the finish.

Laura will not only be the first person to run it but she's doing the whole thing in the Vibram FiveFingers V-Trail 2.0.

We will be following her progress on our Facebook and Instagram channels and you can donate to Laura's appeal by clicking here.
