Vibram Fivefingers and Furoshiki Sizing
Here at Barefoot Junkie we appreciate buying our shoes for the first time is difficult to find the right fit. This guide is here to help you choose the right size and give you fitting tips for the best performance.
Remember if it not right first time we can always exchange them for you.
Our advice is to buy your normal size (go with the EU size and not the UK) The UK Sizing is only as used as an approximate guide' to Conventional footwear. Vibram Fivefingers are designed in Italy and the UK Conversion on the box and shoes may differ slightly to ours here in the UK.
Styles we know from feedback that fit small are detailed below. We recommend going up a size or ordering two and returning the incorrect size back to us for a refund.

Furoshiki Hi Knit
With FiveFingers you are looking for a good fit on your longest toe. A good fit is your toe filling the pocket but not feeling excessive pressure on the end of your toe. Unlike regular shoes where you need to leave a gap, FiveFingers will move and stretch with your foot and a snug glove like fit is the correct fit. Up to a 5mm gap is acceptable. Anything more, then go for the size below.
It is OK if not all your toes fill the toe pockets. Not filling each pocket will not affect the performance of the shoe.
Furoshiki shoes similarly do move and stretch with your foot but on these you should be looking for your toes to sit in a comfortable position without feeling like your toes are being pulled back.
