Love these shoes.
Putting them on felt like putting on slippers, but the kind of slippers you'd like to walk up mountains in.
I'm just back from a week of serious walking in the Dolomites mountains where I wore these most days. Brilliant ground feel, comfort, and grip. Definitely recommend.
Some other things to know:
1. For long walks on multiple days. (We were out all day, with lots of elevation gain & loss) these are serious exercise for the feet. If you're new to barefoot then your feet will be exhausted after a long day on tricky terrain. I've been all in on barefoot shoes for 18 months before using these on such challenging long walks over multiple days. My feet were tired but not aching thanks to long term strength buildup.
2. These are distinctly not waterproof. I knew this and sprayed with some water repellent before the trip. In light rain or stepping through a puddle I rapidly got wet feet. Luckily it was hot and they allowed for rapid drying. It would be nice to get a waterproof and breathable version of these else they'll largely have to go away for the UK winter.
Bought these to use at Love Trails Croatia -very rocky and often uneven underfoot trails. I felt very grounded throughout and my feet moulded perfectly to the ground beneath me. My pre-existing ankle issue actually healed from the experience of my tendons and ligaments needing to work and stabilise. Of course you can feel the ground but the material protects you so there is no pain at all. The excellent tread meant I felt a lot more secure and confident than others with thick soles and who slid a few times. More than passed the test and would highly recommend!
I got the Trailopes as an upgrade to my first ever pair of Five Fingers and OMG, they are so comfortable! I wasn't expecting the padded heel and achilles and it made the world of difference, just perfect for rough terrain. I'm so happy with them.
These take a little bit of breaking in to soften the fabric a touch but then they are just perfect for anything life chucks your way
The go to shoe for just about anything
Tip best colour is cream/lime. Perfect summer shoe
The closest barefoot shoe to no shoes that I have found. They are lightweight and extremely comfortable, with great flexibility and excellent comfort levels.
A little tricky to get on but once on so comfortable
Wore them with the five fingers but also with normal trainers & can’t believe how comfortable they are
Will certainly get some more & probably wear them instead of trainer socks now
Great shoes, my 2nd pair of KSO EVOs. My favourite of Vibrams shoes. I do wish the Vibrams lettering on the top of the shoe by the laces was red instead of standard yellow, but I love these.
By far my favourite pair of five fingers; the colour, the feel, the fit!
My only critique is there could be more tread under and across the big toe of these five fingers as their durability is largely dependent on the wear of the material in between the big and second toe

I thought the order was incorrect when the tiny box arrived. Inside was a small bag and the shoes were folded into that. These are so light and comfortable they are amazing. They take so little space I have a pair of shoes when I am travelling that fit into a pocket.
I got these as a more padded option for longer walks and running. They've been good to me so far, a balance between ground feel and support when I'm hitting the pavement more often. The breathable upper works well - I feel it when there's a breeze outside. Tom these out on light rain and they dry very quickly.
I have a little rubbing on one of the toes. I think this may be a case of people's feet just all being differently sized, as it's only happened on one foot, and only with this model. Overall I enjoy these, and they're a good addition to my collection.
Such cool shoes! They rubbed the top of the ball of my foot the first few times I wore them so I’d recommend blister plasters until they’re worn in. After a few wears they’re so comfortable!
Perfect. Wore them at a festival, they were hard wearing and tough. Very pleased with this model. I have been wearing Vibrams for 15 years and these seem the hardiest so far.
Love these, bought my first pair 3 years ago and bought these because I have worn those out! I wear them every day, get comments regularly at work and from random strangers but they are the most comfortable pair of Five Fingers I own and great for day to day use.
Such lovely shoes! Love the leather look, while its still flexible and stretchy for toes to move! Leather is super soft, sole is really comfy. Really surprised that even my extra wide feet fit in these.
My first barefoot shoes. They took a little while to get used to but I can feel the benefits. My posture is improved when I walk and I have better connection with the ground. Now it feels strange to wear my old shoes.

I've purchased the V trek previously and they were incredible, the V soul didn't let me down, super stylish and comfortable.
I'm a UK 5.5 EU 39 - and the sizing is perfect no need to size up or down.
Love my new Alpha's! I really enjoyed taking them for a spin in Snowdonia national park today. They were brilliant on the trails, no issues at all. Perfect fit and comfort. I’m being sensible at getting use to barefoot and slowly building up the time/distance. So far so good I absolutely love the feel they bring and feel much more connected to nature. These are my first pair of Vibram shoes but definitely not the last :-)
E-gift card for a returned pair of V-something toe shoes that, very sadly, didn’t fit.
What the gift card got me in place is great! Light, like a second skin yet good for outdoor, keep my arthritic toes in check in a (nearish?) straight line. My second pair, so glad to have a backup one.
