The brief for this project was to develop a shoe with ¼ the Volume of typical shoes whilst maintaining the durability and performance.

Introducing the new Vibram ¼ (Vibram One Quarter)
Here at Barefoot Junkie we believe in wearing shoes that allow the toes to sit comfortably, are as light as possible whilst providing excellent sensory feedback through a zero drop and minimalist sole.
The new One Qtr Mens delivers this perfectly. We love our FiveFingers but even us most ardent fans concede that they aren't suitable for every occasion. The One Quarter offer an excellent compromise for such events whilst also doubling up as an excellent travel and city shoe.
• PORTABLE: The unique three-dimensional sole takes inspiration from the Japanese art of origami design. It is light weight, foldable, compact and provides a stable geometric structure.
• NATURAL COMFORT: The One Quarter Mens combines a sleek, modern look with an extremely comfortable and minimalist feel. The insole comprises of a sustainable bamboo material to further enhance the comfort in terms of temperature regulation.
• MINIMALISM & LIGHTNESS: The Sole is powered by Vibram LITEBASE Technology with Gumlite, Vibram blown compound. introducing Vibram LITEBASE Tech - drastically reducing thickness and weight for rubber outsoles, and fully maintaining the grip and traction expected from Vibram. This new technology significantly reduces base thickness by up to 50% from an identical sole design and allows the overall weight to be reduced up to 30%.

Size Guide
How to Measure Your Feet for the Perfect Fit
To ensure you get the right size, it's important to measure both feet from heel to toe:
- Positioning: Stand with your heels against a vertical wall.
- Measurement: Use a ruler to measure the distance from the wall to the tip of your longest toe (usually the big toe or second toe).
- Do this for both feet as they can be different.
- Comparison: Take the longer of the two measurements.
Finding Your Ideal Shoe Size
Foot shapes and sizes can vary greatly between individuals. While Vibram FiveFingers offers some adjustability, they may not suit every foot type perfectly. For the best fit, follow these steps to measure your feet accurately in centimeters or inches. Then, refer to the sizing guide below to determine your EU or UK size.
Note:
- If your foot length differs by more than 0.4 cm between feet, achieving a precise fit for both feet may be challenging.
- If your second toe is more than 0.4 cm longer than your big toe, finding a perfect fit might be difficult.
- Keep in mind that toe socks typically add about 1mm of thickness around the foot.
IMPORTANT: Always measure your feet at the end of the day or after physical activity when your feet are at their largest.

Great value for money and very comfortable to wear
They're precisely as I expected. Very similar to my CVT's. They pack down incredibly well and the included pouch is much handier thani expected it to be.
Love the colour and very comfortable.
Funnily enough, I get more comments when wearing these than when wearing the five fingers these days.. people are so used to my “monkey feet” that they are shocked to see me in “normal shoes”!! Still put them right that these are still barefoot shoes but sometimes having your “toes out” is not acceptable! Fit great, second pair I own, just wish you had the denim ones in my size!!
