Love these shoes. Putting them on felt like putting on slippers, but the kind of slippers you'd like to walk up mountains in. I'm just back from a week of serious walking in the Dolomites mountains where I wore these most days. Brilliant ground feel, comfort, and grip. Definitely recommend. Some other things to know: 1. For long walks on multiple days. (We were out all day, with lots of elevation gain & loss) these are serious exercise for the feet. If you're new to barefoot then your feet will be exhausted after a long day on tricky terrain. I've been all in on barefoot shoes for 18 months before using these on such challenging long walks over multiple days. My feet were tired but not aching thanks to long term strength buildup. 2. These are distinctly not waterproof. I knew this and sprayed with some water repellent before the trip. In light rain or stepping through a puddle I rapidly got wet feet. Luckily it was hot and they allowed for rapid drying. It would be nice to get a waterproof and breathable version of these else they'll largely have to go away for the UK winter.
